Iva Boneva is the founder and CEO of the Centre for Inclusive Education. She has an MA in Social Policy and Social Development from the University of Manchester, UK, and is a PhD student in Social Education at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She is experienced in social policy and social development, and worked for the UNDP, Catholic Relief Services, Save the Children UK in Bulgaria, and for Bulgarian non-governmental organizations.

Iva is among the founders of the Bulgarian Platform for International Development; she is a Board member of the Division of International Special Education and Services (DISES), a Chevening Foreign and Commonwealth Office Scholar, a German Memorial Marshall Fund Fellow and was awarded the Honorary Sign of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria for outstanding contribution and merit in protecting children’s rights.
